Another favourite of Elsie’s was Someone Like You. It was written by Ralph Blane and Harry Warren and recorded by Doris Day in 1947. She would sing it as a duet with Ringo at the Starkey’s get-togethers. Ringo covered Let The Rest Of The World Go By in 1970 of his album Sentimental Journey.
