Wings played the song during rehearsals in 1980. Paul McCartney recorded a version of the song for his 1999 album Run Devil Run.

This song was written by Gene Lockhart and Ernest Seitz in 1918. Seitz used the pseudonym Raymond Roberts when the song was published in 1919. The song has been recorded over 100 times including versions by Duke Ellington and Django Reinhardt. Les Paul and Mary Ford recorded their version in 1951. It was played by John Lennon and Paul McCartney when they performed as The Nerk Twins in 1960. It was part of The Beatles’ early repertoire. A version of it can be heard on a private tape recorded by the band in early 1960. The song was recorded by Carl Perkins and Friends in 1985 during the Blue Suede Shoes: A Rockabilly Session concert. The ‘Friends’ included Ringo Starr and George Harrison but only George and Carl play on this song. It was released in 1986 on the album named after the concert. The song has also been performed live by Paul McCartney.
