This album was recorded by Count Basie in 1969. It was recorded in New York City and was produced by Dick Peirce. It was released on the Happy Tiger label in 1969. The album was Count Basie’s second tribute album to The Beatles after Basie’s Beatle Bag released in 1966. The album contains ten songs written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and one song written by George Harrison. The album includes versions of Something, Get Back, Hey Jude, and Come Together. The album’s liner notes were written by Ringo Starr. Paul McCartney owned a copy of the album.
