Cold Turkey.

Cold Turkey was written by John Lennon. It was recorded by Plastic Ono Band in 1969. It was recorded at EMI Studios and was produced by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The recording features Eric Clapton on guitar, Klaus Voormann on bass, and Ringo Starr on drums. Cold Turkey was released as a single on the Apple Records label in 1969. The B-side was Don’t Worry Kyoko (Mummy’s Only Looking For A Hand In The Snow). The single reached number twelve on the UK Singles chart and number thirty on the Billboard chart. The song was part of John Lennon’s repertoire. Live versions have been released on Live Peace In Toronto 1969 (1969), Some Time In New York City (1972), and Live In New York City (1986). The version released on Some Time In New York City features George Harrison on guitar.
