2004 Polythene Pam – The Beatles (1969)


The Beatles.

Polythene Pam was written by John Lennon in 1968. It is credited to Lennon-McCartney. The Beatles recorded a demo of the song in 1968 at George Harrison’s home in Esher. That version was released on The Beatles’ album Anthology 3 in 1996. The Beatles played the song during the Let It Be sessions in 1969. They recorded the song for their 1969 album Abbey Road. It was recorded at EMI Studios and was produced by George Martin. Polythene Pam was first released on The Beatles’ 1969 album Abbey Road. ‘Pam’ from the song is mentioned in The Beatles’ 1969 song Mean Mr. Mustard.
