2003 Mean Mr. Mustard – The Beatles (1969)

Mean Mr. Mustard was written by John Lennon in 1968. It is credited to Lennon-McCartney. The Beatles recorded a demo of the song at George Harrison’s home in Esher in 1968. That version was released on The Beatles’ 1996 album Anthology 3.  The Beatles played the song during the Let It Be sessions in 1969. The Beatles recorded the song again for their album Abbey Road. That version was recorded at EMI Studios in 1969 and was produced by George Martin.  The song mentions ‘Pam’ from The Beatles’ 1969 song Polythene Pam. Mean Mr. Mustard was first released on The Beatles’ 1969 album Abbey Road.
