1996 Oh! Darling – The Beatles (1969)

Oh! Darling.

This song was written by Paul McCartney but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles during the Let It Be sessions in 1969. Rehearsals of the song were used in The Beatles’ 1970 movie Let It Be. A version recorded during the Let It Be sessions was released in 1996 on the album Anthology 3. The Beatles recorded the song again for their 1969 album Abbey Road. It was recorded at EMI Studios and was produced by Chris Thomas. It was first released on The Beatles’ album Abbey Road in 1969. The song was also released as a single in Japan in 1970 with Here Comes The Sun on the B-side.
