The Original Delaney & Bonnie.

This album is also known as Accept No Substitute. It was the second album released by Delaney & Bonnie & Friends. The album was recorded at Elektra Sound Recorders Studios in California in 1969. It was produced by Delaney Bramlett and David Anderle and was released on the Elektra label in 1969. The album contained ten tracks including Get Ourselves Together, Love Me A Little Longer, and Do Right Woman – Do Right Man. The albums personnel included Leon Russell, Bobby Whitlock, Bobby Keys, and Jim Keltner. After hearing pre-release mixes of the album George Harrison signed Delaney & Bonnie to The Beatles’ Apple Records label. The Original Delaney & Bonnie & Friends was planned to be their debut album release on Apple however Delaney & Bonnie were still signed to Elektra Records and the album was released on Elektra Records. George Harrison was a fan of Delaney & Bonnie and would later become an unofficial member of the “Friends” along with Eric Clapton.
