Charity Bubbles

Stop Blowing Those Charity Bubbles was written by Mike McCartney and Roger McGough. It was first recorded by The Scaffold in 1969 and was released on their album L The P. The Scaffold re-recorded the song the same year. That version was recorded at EMI Studios in London and was produced by Norrie Paramor and Tim Rice. The recording features Paul McCartney on guitar. It was released as a single using the title Charity Bubbles. The B-side was Goose. The single failed to chart.
