This song was written by Eric Clapton and George Harrison. It was first recorded by Cream in 1968. It was recorded at IBC Studios in London and was produced by Felix Pappalardi. The recording features George Harrison on rhythm guitar. George Harrison was credited as L’Angelo Misterioso. Badge was released as a single in 1969 with What A Bringdown on the B-Side. The single reached number eighteen on the UK Singles chart and number sixty on the Billboard chart. The song was also released on the album Goodbye.  The instrumental break of Badge influenced the instrumental break of The Beatles’ 1969 song Here Comes The Sun. Eric Clapton performed the song live during his Japanese tour with George Harrison in 1991.
