1797 Gorilla – The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band (1967)



Gorilla was the debut album released by The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. It was recorded in 1967 and was produced by Gerry Bron and Lyn Birkbeck. The album contains fifteen tracks including Cool Britannia, Jollity Farm, and Death Cab For Cutie. The album features Eric Clapton playing ukulele on the track The Intro And The Outro. The album was released on the Liberty Records label in 1967. All four of The Beatles were fans of The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band and Paul McCartney owned a copy of Gorilla.
