1789 Revolution 9 – The Beatles (1968)

This avant-garade piece was written by John Lennon, George Harrison and Yoko Ono but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was recorded at EMI Studios in 1968 and was produced by John Lennon and George Martin. John Lennon and George Harrison are the only members of The Beatles to feature on the recording. The recording also features vocals by Yoko Ono, George Martin and Alistair Taylor. The piece uses snippets from the recording sessions for The Beatles’ 1968 song  Revolution 1  which features all four of The Beatles. The recording also includes a snippet of The Beatles’ 1967 song A Day In The Life.
