Savoy Truffle was written by George Harrison. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1968. It was recorded at Trident Studios and EMI Studios and was produced by George Martin. The recording does not feature John Lennon. The recording features Chris Thomas on electric piano and organ.  The song mentions The Beatles’ 1968 song Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da. Savoy Truffle was released on The Beatles’ 1968 album The Beatles.  The song was also released on an EP in Thailand in 1968. The EP also included Martha My Dear, Glass Onion, and Happiness Is A Warm Gun.
