1785 Revolution 1 – The Beatles (1968)

Revolution was written by John Lennon but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1968. It was recorded at EMI Studios and was produced by George Martin. Revolution was first released as the B-side to Hey Jude in 1968. An edit of take 1 and take 2 was released on The Beatles’ 1968 album The Beatles. That version was titled Revolution 1. It features Francie Schwartz on backing vocals. The Beatles also recorded an avant-garde version of the song titled Revolution 9.
