1783 Helter Skelter – The Beatles (1968)

Helter Skelter was written by Paul McCartney but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1968. It was recorded at EMI Studios and was produced by George Martin. The recording features Mal Evans on trumpet. An edit of Take 2 was released on The Beatles’ 1996 album Anthology 3. Helter Skelter was first released on The Beatles’ 1968 album The Beatles. A new remix was released on The Beatles’ 2006 album Love. It was part of a medley along with Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! and I Want You (She’s So Heavy). The song is part of Paul McCartney’s repertoire. A live version recorded in 2009 was released on the album Good Evening New York City.
