From “Frink, A Life In The Day Of” And Summer With Monika is made up of four spoken word tracks. The tracks are Prologue written by Andy Roberts and Roger McGough, Introducing: Moaning written by Bobby Timmons, Anji written by Davy Graham, and Epilogue written by Andy Roberts and Roger McGough. It was recorded by McGough & McGear in 1967. It was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios in London and was produced by Paul McCartney. The recording features Noel Redding on bass, Zoot Money on keyboards and Paul McCartney on Mellotron. Paul McCartney’s voice can be heard at the beginning of the track. It was released on the 1968 album McGough & McGear.
