This song was written by Paul McCartney but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1968. Arthur Conley recorded his version the same year. That version features Duane Allman on guitar. It was released as a single with Otis Sleep On on the B-side. The single reached number fifty-one on the Billboard chart. The single was not released in the UK. American director Michael Lindsay-Hogg owned a copy of the single and both sides were played during the Let It Be sessions in 1969 while Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr sang along.
