Going Up The Country.

Going Up The Country was written by Alan Wilson and was based on the song Bull Doze Blues, recorded by Henry Thomas in 1928. Going Up The Country was recorded by Canned Heat in 1968. It was first released on their 1968 album Living The Blues. It was later released as a single with One Kind Favor on the B-side. It reached number nineteen on the UK Singles chart and number eleven on the Billboard chart. The song was played by The Beatles during the Let It Be sessions in 1969.
