1683 Tip-Toe Thru’ The Tulips – Tiny Tim (1968)

This song was written by Al Dubin and Joe Burkeand was published in 1929. It was first recorded by Nick Lucas in 1929. Tiny Tim recorded his version in 1968 and it was produced by Richard Perry. It was released on his 1968 album God Bless Tiny Tim. It was also released as a single with I Got You, Babe on the B-side. Tip-Toe Thru’ The Tulips was Tiny Tim’s debut single in the UK. All four of The Beatles were fans of Tiny Tim and during an interview with Kenny Everett in 1968 they request that he played Tip-Toe Thru’ The Tulips. Tiny Tim later appeared on The Beatles’ 1968 Christmas Record.
