1632 Eleanor Rigby – Vanilla Fudge (1967)


Eleanor Rigby Part 1.

This song was written by Paul McCartney but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1966. Vanilla Fudge recorded the song in 1967. Their version was part of medley with the song ELDS, although ELDS was not credited on the original release. It was first released on the band’s debut album Vanilla Fudge in 1967. The album also included a version of Ticket To Ride. Vanilla Fudge also released Eleanor Rigby as a single in the UK. The single was separated into two parts and Eleanor Rigby Part 2 was the B-side.
