The recording features George Martin and Victor Spinetti. It was released as a 7″ flexi disc on the Lyntone label. It was only available to members of The Beatles’ fan club. The recording is made up of comedy skits and songs written and performed by The Beatles. The recording includes the original songs Christmas Time (Is Here Again), and Plenty Of Jam Jars as well as a spoof radio jingle for Wanderlust. The recording also features John Lennon playing Auld Lang Syne. The recording is similar to The Craig Torso Show recorded by The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band in 1967 and first broadcast on BBC Radio in November 1967. The Craig Torso Show was first released as a bonus track on the 2007 version of the 1967 album Gorilla. An edit of the song Christmas Time (Is Here Again) was released as the B-side to Free As A Bird in 1995. Christmas Time (Is Here Again) was recorded by Ringo Starr for his 1999 album I Wanna Be Santa Claus.
