Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was written by Paul McCartney but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. The reprise of the song was first recorded by The Beatles in 1967. It was recorded at EMI Studios and was produced by George Martin. Take 5 was released on Anthology 2 in 1996. The song was first released on The Beatles’ 1967 album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. A new remix was released on The Beatles’ 2006 album Love. The song is part of Paul McCartney’s repertoire. A live version of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band recorded in 1989 includes the song’s reprise at the end. That version was released in 1990 on the album Tripping The Live Fantastic. Paul McCartney has performed Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) as part of a medley with The End. Live versions of the medley have been released on Back In The U.S. (2002), Back In The World (2003), and Good Evening New York City (2009).
