This song was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richard. It was first recorded by The Rolling Stones in 1967. It was recorded at Olympic Studios and was produced by Andrew Loog Oldham. John Lennon and Paul McCartney were present during the recording session and provided backing vocals on the recording. The song was released as a single in 1967. The B-side was Dandelion. An edited version of the song with which ends with dialogue from John Lennon was released in 1969 on the album Through The Past, Darkly. The single reached number eight on the UK Singles chart and number fifty on the Billboard chart.
