Eight Days A Week was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1964. Billy Preston recorded an instrumental version of the song in 1965. It was the first time Billy Preston had recorded a song written by Lennon-McCartney. It was released on his album Early Hits Of 1965. The album also included versions of Go Now and Ferry Across The Mersey.
