This song was written by Paul McCartney but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1966. It was recorded at EMI Studios and was produced by George Martin. George Martin plays the piano solo on the recording. It was released on The Beatles’ 1966 album Revolver. In India the song was released as the B-side to Here, There And Everywhere in 1966. George Martin recorded the song in 1966 for his album George Martin Instrumentally Salutes The Beatle Girls. Paul McCartney re-recorded the song for his 1984 album Give My Regards To Broad Street. It was part of a medley with Corridor Music. The song is used in the movie Give My Regards To Broad Street starring Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The song is part of Paul McCartney’s repertoire and a live version was released in 1990 as the B-side to Birthday. The song has also been recorded by The Hollyridge Strings, The Tremeloes, and Lulu among others.
