The single reached number two on the UK Singles chart. In America the song was the B-side to Wouldn’t It Be Nice. The single reached number eight on the Billboard chart. The song inspired The Beatles’ 1966 song Here, There And Everywhere from their album Revolver. Paul McCartney picked the song when he appeared on BBC Legends in 2007. Paul McCartney performed the song live with Brian Wilson in 2002.
