It was released on The Beatles’ 1965 album Rubber Soul. The song was released as a single in America in 1966. The B-side was What Goes On. It reached number three on the Billboard chart. In the UK the song was also released on the 1966 EP of the same name. The EP reached number four on the UK EP Chart. The song was part of The Beatles’ repertoire. The song is used in The Beatles’ 1968 movie Yellow Submarine.
