It was released as a single with Yes It Is on the B-side. It reached number one on the UK Singles chart and the Billboard chart. The song was used in The Beatles’ 1965 movie Help! The American release credits both sides of the single as being from the movie “Eight Arms To Hold You”, which was the working title for Help! The song was part of The Beatles’ repertoire and a live version recorded in Blackpool in 1965 was released on the album Anthology 2 in 1996. Another version recorded at The Hollywood Bowl in 1965 was released in 1977 on the album The Beatles At The Hollywood Bowl. The Beatles also recorded the song for BBC Radio and one version was released on the album Live At The BBC in 1994. George Martin And His Orchestra recorded the song in 1965 for the album Help! The song has also been recorded by Mary Wells, Vanilla Fudge, Alma Cogan, and The Carpenters among others.
