This song was written by John Lennon but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1964. It was recorded at EMI studios and was produced by George Martin. The song was first released on the album Beatles For Sale in 1964. In France and Germany it was released as the B-side to Rock And Roll Music in 1965. The song was also part of The Beatles’ repertoire. They also recorded the song for BBC Radio and one version was released in 1994 on the album Live At The BBC. I’m A Loser has also been recorded by The Hollyridge Strings and Marianne Faithfull.
