It reached number twenty-five on the Billboard chart. George Martin And His Orchestra recorded the song in 1964 and it was released on the album By Popular Demand A Hard Day’s Night. It was titled I Cry Instead. The song has also been recorded by Joe Cocker, Johnny Rivers, and Chet Atkins among others.
