It was released on the 1964 album A Hard Day’s Night. In America the song was released as the B-side to I’ll Cry Instead.  The single reached number twenty-five on the Billboard chart and I’m Happy Just To Dance With You reached ninety-five. The song was used in The Beatles’ 1964 movie A Hard Day’s Night. The Beatles have also recorded the song for BBC Radio. George Martin And His Orchestra recorded the song in 1964 and it was released on the album By Popular Demand A Hard Day’s Night. The Cyrkle recorded the song in 1967 for their album Neon.
