This song was written by Cy Coben and Mel Foree. It was recorded by Hank Snow in 1949. Tony Sheridan recorded the song in 1961. He was backed by The Beatles. It was recorded at the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Hamburg, Germany in June 1961. It was produced by Bert Kaempfert. It was first released in Germany on the 1964 album The Beatles’ First. In America it was released as the B-side to Ain’t She Sweet in 1964. The song was recorded by The Traveling Wilburys in 1990 for the benefit album Nobody’s Child: Romanian Angel Appeal. That version was released as a single.
