This song was written in 1927 by Milton Ager and Jack Yellen. It was recorded by Gene Vincent in 1956. The Beatles recorded their version in 1961. It was recorded at the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Hamburg, Germany in June 1961. It was produced by Bert Kaempfert. It was first released on the German album The Beatles’ First in 1964. It was also released as a single in 1964. In Germany and the UK the B-side was If You Love Me, Baby. In America the B-side was Nobody’s Child. The single reached number twenty-nine on the UK Singles chart.

The Beatles recorded the song during the Abbey Road sessions in 1969. That version was released in 1996 on the album Anthology 3. John Lennon recorded a version during the Walls And Bridges sessions in 1973. That version was released in 1998 on the John Lennon Anthology. Paul, George and Ringo also performed the song in 1994 while filming the Anthology TV series.
