This song was written by John Lennon but is credited to Lennon-McCartney. It was first recorded by The Beatles in 1964. It was recorded by Joe Cocker the same year and released as his début single. The B-side was Precious Words. The recording features Big Jim Sullivan and Jimmy Page on guitar. The single failed to chart.
