This song was written by Sonny Boy Williamson and was first recorded by him in 1937 under the title Good Morning, School Girl. Since then it has been recorded by Lightnin’ Hopkins, Muddy Waters, Rod Stewart, and The Grateful Dead among others. The Yardbirds recorded the song in 1964 and released it as a single. The B-side was I Ain’t Got You. It reached number forty-four on the UK Singles chart. The Yardbirds were one of the support acts on Another Beatles Christmas Show in 1964/65. This was their biggest hit at the time. A live version was released on their album Five Live Yardbirds in 1964. That version features lead vocals by Eric Clapton.
