Sounds Incorporated.

Jerry Leiber and Phil Spector wrote this song in 1960. It was first recorded by Ben. E. King. Since then the song has been recorded by Jay And The Americans, Cliff Richard, Chet Atkins, and Clyde McPhatter among others. Sounds Incorporated recorded the song in 1964. It was released as a single with Rinky Dink on the B-side. It went to number thirty-five on the UK Singles chart. Sounds Incorporated were managed by Brian Epstein. They were a support act on The Beatles’ 1964 UK tour and appeared on Another Beatles Christmas Show in 1964/65. Their other hits included Sounds Like Locomotion, The Spartans, and William Tell.
