Oh I Apologize.

This song was written by Berry Gordy and William “Smokey” Robinson. It was first recorded by Barrett Strong in 1959 and released as the B-side to Money (That’s What I Want). The single wasn’t released in the UK until 1960. The single reached number two on the R&B chart and number twenty-three on the Billboard chart. Both John Lennon and George Harrison had this single on their jukeboxes. Oh I Apologize was an influence on John Lennon’s song Isolation.
