Since then it has been recorded by Ella Fitzgerald, Brenda Lee, and Jackie Wilson among others. Liverpudlian singer Michael Holliday recorded the song in 1958. His version was released as a single with I’ll Be Lovin’ You Too on the B-side. It reached number twenty-seven in the UK singles chart.The Quarrymen recorded the song on to a private tape in 1960.
